Detailed Itinerary for the 25 Days Uganda Safari
Day 1: Kampala City tour
Have breakfast, then meet the driver guide with whom you will visit the Kampala city for a tour. You will visit the National Theater, Uganda museum (for creative local arts and crafts provided by the different cultures of Uganda), the Bahai Temple, Kasubi Tombs (UNESCO heritage site that burnt down in to ashes for Buganda Story narrations and to share the Buganda Kingdom Values and norms), Namugongo Shrine (where Uganda martyrs were buried), and the Kabaka’s Lake for a close look at the largest man-made excavated lake in Africa for birding and butterfly watching.
You will then return to your lodge for dinner and overnight.
You can enjoy your evening at Theater La Bonita or enjoy cultural performances with Ndere cultural troupe for traditional performances.
Day 2: Transfer to Jinja
Set off, after breakfast for Jinja on a 2 hours’ roadtrip with the first stopover at sezibwa falls in Kayanja sub county of Mukono district, for either a nature walk, or mountain hike, or visiting cultural caves. Then continue with the drive to Mabira forest for a birding experience. You will arrive in Jinja, at your booked accommodation, in perfect time for lunch.
Go for an afternoon boat cruise along the source of the Nile, and later return to your lodge for dinner and overnight
Day 3: White Water Rafting
Breakfast is served very early in the morning, then you will be transferred for white water rafting briefing at the starting point. Thereafter the you will be provided with proper rafting gear.
With the help of the an experienced guide, you enter into your boat for full day 3-5 grade rapid raft, with an inclusive lunch break on the Nile and ends with a barbeque treat accompanied with beer.
Return to your lodge for dinner and an overnight sleep
Day 4: Transfer to Sipi falls
In the morning, you will be transferred to Kapchorwa to hike Sipi Falls which comprises of 3 water falls. This journey offers breathtaking views of Mount Elgon on winding roads, the low plains and the roadside markets.
You will reach in time for lunch at the lodge, then after join others for a community walk to interact and learn from the Locals, after which you will return to the lodge for dinner and overnight.
Day 5: Hiking Sipi falls and visit Nyero Rock Painting
Your day, after breakfast, begins with a 4 hours sipi Falls hiking Adventure, where you will hike up 3 water falls of total heights 75m, 85m and 100m, which make up the sipi falls. You will be amazed by the astounding natural splash of the water as it falls over the rocks.
The hike is slightly challenging but worth rewarding. Return to the Lodge for Lunch and an afternoon rest.

Day 6: Transfer to Pian Upe Wildlife Reserve Via Nyero Rock Painting.
Rise up for break fast, after then you will be driven to Nyero Rock Painting to see among others the ancient art, historical paintings etc. Later on embark on your drive to Pian-Upe game reserve with a lunch en-route and connect for an evening game drive, as you head to your camp for dinner and an overnight.
Day 7: Game drive and community visit
Have breakfast early in the morning and proceed for game drive to look for animals including cheetahs, roan Antelopes, Elands, Zebras, hartebeests, Oribis, Gunthers Dik Dik, Buffaloes, Uganda Kobs, Buffaloes, Blue and Common Duiker, Impalas among others. After here, return for lunch and visit one of the villages for a cultural retreat.
Dinner and overnight at the Camp
Day 8: Transfer to Kidepo
Check out of the camp after breakfast, and drive northwards to Kidepo National Park, Uganda’s untouched wilderness that is yet to be discovered by more tourists. The park is in the North Eastern Part of Uganda, situated between the borders of Kenya and Sudan.
You will arrive after 7 hours drive, as well as check in. Head for an evening game drive, after rest, so as to look out for animals like Lions, leopards, buffaloes, zebras among other animals & numerous bird species.
Day 9: Full day Game drive & Kanangorok Hot springs visit
You will be driven to magnificent eye-catching Kanangorok hot springs, which is positioned a few kilometers from the park, for a game drive as well as trying to boiling an egg and eating it.
Head back to the Lodge for Lunch, and after go for an exclusive encounter by visiting the Manyattas, where you will enjoy and learn the stories and cultural demonstration

Day 10: Narus Valley Morning game drive & transfer to Murchison falls
You will connect to Narus valley, for a game drive early in the morning, where you might spot animals like; elephants, Buffaloes, Giraffes Cheatahs, Lions, Leopards, Elands on a lucky day. Return to your lodge for Lunch and later proceed to Murchison Falls National Park.
Arrive and check in. have dinner and take an overnight rest.
Day 11: Morning game drive and boat cruise
Following your breakfast, you will be proceed for a game drive around the Buligi game track on the northern bank. Look out for herds of African Buffaloes, African Elephants, warthogs and towering Giraffes, Bushbucks, Reedbuck, Duikers, Uganda Kob, Oribi and unusual-looking hartebeest, African Lions, as well as out a Leopard.
Return to the lodge, therafter you will prepare for afternoon waterfall launch cruise, with astounding display of wildlife along with the memorable Frontal view of the falls as well as the sun set.
Day 12: Morning Delta boat cruise and chimp tracking
Start your day with a morning boat cruise from the Victoria Nile to the Delta point where the Nile connects Lake Albert at the Top Corner of Marchison Falls National Park. You also have an opportunity of sighting more aquatic animals like; Hippos, Crocodile, pythons etc.
Return for lunch , then go for an afternoon game drive.

Day 13: Transfer to Kibale forest national Park
You will be transferred to Kibale Forest National Park, on a 7 hours’ drive from Murchison falls national park. Enroute, you will enjoy the magnificent views of the jaw dropping scenery, landscapes and lunch-preferably packed. Then check in at your booked accommodation in Kibale National Park.
Day 14: Chimp tracking and Bigodi nature Walk
Have breakfast early morning breakfast, then head for Chimpanzee trekking briefing at the Kanyanchu visitors center. You will be taught about the rules and regulations when trekking in the park, when with the chimps, and what you expect upon finding them.
With he help of a professional and experienced ranger guide, you will follow the trails according to the guides instruction., untill you find them.
You will be allowed to interact with them for at most 60 minutes, thereafter you will return to the starting point. Collect your certificate from the visitors center, and proceed for lunch at the Lodge.
The guided nature walk at Bigodi wetland Sanctuary starts at exactly 2:00pm, which requires you to be there on time. Proceed for your guided nature walk and be prepared to meet species like: the L’Hoest monkeys, red colobus, vervet monkeys, baboons; birds such asthe great blue Turacos plus other mammal species.
Day 15: Transfer to Queen Elizabeth National Park
Transfer to Queen Elizabeth national park. Enroute you will visit the exploration Lake, arriving in time for lunch at the lodge. In the afternoon, you will be transferred to the park for an afternoon game drive. Animals you might encounter include elephants, Giant forest hogs, Buffaloes and some bird species.
Day 16: Morning game drive and Kazinga channel boat cruise
You will wake up early in the morning for breakfast, then proceed for a 3-4 hours drive on the Kaseny and Mweya area, where you might spot nocturnal animals going back to their dens after hunting in the night.
Other wild game you are expected to see include; Leopard, hippos, hartebeests, lions, small primates, antelopes, warthogs birds among other early morning risers.
Return to the lodge for lunch as you wait for the afternoon boat cruise on Kazinga Channel.
You will then leave for an afternoon boat cruise on the Kazinga channel for an exceptional experience, as you watch animals by the bank like large heard of elephants, hippos, buffaloes, crocodiles and various bird species.
Return for dinner and an overnight t the Lodge
Day 17: Kyambura chimp tracking and transfer to Bwindi Impenetrable national park
In the morning, you will be transferred for chimpanzee tracking at the Kyambura Gorge . You will climb through the the gorge’s steep slopes which is quite challenging worth rewarding with beautiful sights of the impressive lush mature tropical trees.Upon finding them, you will be allowed at most 1 hour of interaction.
During trekking, look out for the common black and white colobus monkeys and Olive Baboons.
Lunch will be served at the lodge, after which you will head to Bwindi Impenetrable National park through Isasha sector, where you might spot tree climbing Lions. Arriving at the lodge in the evening for dinner and an overnight rest.
Day 18: Gorilla trekking and Batwa experience
In the morning, you will be driven to Bwindi National Park headquarters for briefing, about the gorillas, gorilla trekking and what to expect them.
Thereafter you will split into groups, each assigned with a ranger and a gorilla family. At 8:00pm, each group sets off to search for the mountain gorillas, which may last for 2-8 hours depending on how far they may have moved and the location of the gorilla family that you are tracking.
You will then spend at most 60 minutes in their presence while interacting with them, as they go about their daily activity. Return to the headquarters to pick up your gorilla certificate, then proceed for lunch at the hotel.
Embark on a cultural walk to visit the women’s group or orphaned groups or other wise spend great time with the Batwa group of people to enjoy great time.
Dinner and overnight sleep at Mgahinga National Park
Day 19: Transfer to Mgahinga National Park
Depart Bwindi for Mgahiinga gorilla National Park after breakfast. Mgahinga Gorilla National Park is famously recognized for its 3 distinct volcanoes that are oftenly climbed as well as the mountain gorillas. You will reach in time for lunch and check-in at the hotel of your choice in Kisoro town. In the afternoon, choose between relaxing or exploring Kisoro town.

Day 20: Mount Sabyinyo Hike
Following an early breakfast, proceed to the trail head to start your hike. Mgahinga, has 3 challenging and difficult volcano peaks to climb. Ascending up the mountain on along takes you to the eastern side to the peak.
Climbing to the second peak comprises of trekking on a ridge with beautiful drops into gorges of Rwanda and Uganda, a combined experience you will embrace. At last the third peak is steep with a number of ladders and mush scrambling. You should be well assured of that your hands are bound to get dirty on your way up to the third peak!
Upon reach the top, you will be standing three countries of Rwanda, Democratic Republic of Congo and Uganda, which is triple experience!!!
Climbing Mount Sabyinyo is approximately eight hours to cover the 14km stretch depending on the group’s physical strength and speed. Your are requested to to carry along plenty of drinking water because of the untimely rain and don’t forget to carry enough energy snacks.
Return to the Lodge for dinner and overnight.
Day 21: Transfer to Lake Bunyonyi
You will, after breakfast transfer to Lake Bunyonyi in Western Uganda ( the second deepest lake in Africa and one of the most breathtaking & magnificent places in the country). It is ideal for swimming because it is Bilhazia free. The journey lusts between 3 – 5 hours drive. You will arrive in time for lunch in one of the accommodations, where you will spend the whole afternoon resting and relaxing at the pool
Dinner and overnight will be at one of the many lodges near the lake.
Day 22: Relaxation and Canoeing on Lake Bunonyi
Rise up for an early morning canoe ride to spot water animals and many species of birds, or go swimming,or even nature walk through the impressive hills of the lake, landscapes around the lake which consists of steep hills covered with lush green vegetation from the water’s edge. Climbing further to the top of the hills offers splendid views of the Volcano ranges at the Boder of Ugandan with Rwanda.

Day 23: Transfer to Lake Mburo national Park
Embark on your morning drive to Lake Mburo National Park. Enroute, you will stop for lunch in Mbarara, then at the equator and crafts shop to buy souvenirs. Reach the Lodge in the evening for dinner and Overnight

Day 24: Game drives and afternoon boat cruise
You will start your game drive early this morning. You will head to the field to look for early risers,like zebras, antelopes, Impalas, spotted hyenas, leopards, sitatungas among others. Return to the lodge for lunch, then after proceed for an afternoon boat ride at the lake. You will spot hippos, and several water bird species.
Return to the Lodge in the evening for dinner and an overnight.
Day 25: Transfer to Entebbe International Airport
Wake up for breakfast, and visit the Rubanga forest for a nature walk, where you will spot different species of primates like olive Baboons, Black and white colobus monkeys as well as many birds like the doves, Herons, Sun birds etc.
Return to Kampala or Entebbe International airport for your schedules flight.
