Detailed Itinerary of the 7 days Uganda safari (Gorilla trekking, Wildlife & Chimpanzee Tours)
Day 1: Transfer to Bwindi Impenetrable national Park(9-10 hours drive)
Transfer to Bwindi Impenetrable National Park in the South Western Uganda, with an en-route stopover at the equator, crafts shop and Igongo Cultural center for Lunch. Upon reaching Mbarara, drive to Bwindi to checkin at your hotel/lodge
Accommodation Options: Ichumbi lodge(midrange), chameleon hill Lodge, or Buhoma Community Rest Camp
Day 2: Gorilla trekking and Batwa cultural experience
Have an early breakfast! With your gorilla permit, proceed to Park headquarters to join other trekkers for briefing about the conduct of gorilla trekking. In a group of 8 individuals, 1 experienced park ranger and a guide, you will embark on your gorilla trekking adventure which starts at 8:00am. Gorilla trekking is unpredictable as you will take between 2-8 hours including 1 full hour of face to face contact with the gorillas as you interact with them.
Return back to your lodge for lunch and after proceed with your evening visit to the Batwa Community to learn and experience their way of Living
Day 3: Drive to Queen Elizabeth National Park
Wake up early, Have breakfast, check out and proceed to Queen Elizabeth National Park, which is famously known for its tree climbing Lions at the Isasha sector. Arrive early join other clients for an afternoon boat cruise on Kazinga Channel to look out for wild game including the African Elephants, Buffaloes, Hippos, Crocodiles Monitor Lizards and various bird species
On the other hand, you may just check in your lodge and head for an afternoon game drive or rather just rest in the Lodge so as to prepare for the next day.

Day 4: Game Drive & Boat Cruise on Kazinga channel
Head for an early morning game drive, after breakfast. You will be driven along the Kasenyi track of Queen Elizabeth National Pack, where you might spot lions, warthogs, bush elephants, birds, leopards, antelopes among other wild animals.
Return to the Lodge after the game drive for lunch, after then you will set off for the afternoon boatcruise on Kazinga Chennel. Animals on the Lookout include Buffaloes, Elephants, Croccodiles, Hippos, and various water birds
Dinner and overnight at the Lodge.
Day 5: Transfer to Kibale national Park
On this day, You will rise up for an early morning game drive, after breakfast, as you look out for game including Warthogs, African Elephants, Antelopes and Bird species including Bee-beater, KingFisher etc. After here, you will then proceed to Kibale Forest national Park which is just 2-4 hours drive.
Accommodatrion: Kibale Forest Camp(Basic)/Chimpanzee Guest house and Camp(mid-range)/or Primate Lodge(Luxury)
Day 6: Chimpanzee Tracking and Guided nature walks
Drive to Kanyanchu visitor center for an exhilarating chimpanzee tracking experience in the verdant forest after having a hefty breakfast.
You will be given chimpanzee tracking safety and tracking briefing, after then be taken by vehicle to a starting point, to commence your chimpanzee trek in the forest. After this phenomenal experience, return to your vehicle on the edge of the forest, and drive back to your lodge for lunch.
Proceed for an afternoon swamp walk in Bigodi swamp sanctuary to sight some birds and other primates including monkeys.
Day 7: Return to Kampala/Entebbe International Airport
After breakfast, you will drive heading back to Kampala or Entebbe international Airport to catchup with your flight.

The 7 days Uganda Safari takes starts from Entebbe International Airport, after which it takes you to Queen Elizabeth national park for wildlife view; Kalinzu for Chimpanzee tracking & guided nature walk; Bwindi Impenetrable national park for gorilla trekking; and Lake Mburo Natiuonal park.
DAY 1: ARRIVAL AT ENTEBBE AIRPORT
Upon arrival, proceed to the hotel/lodge where you want the Self Drive Kenya car to be dropped. Take the rest of the day relaxing, otherwise you can gor for acity city to visit the Buganda Palace, The Gadhaffi Mosque, the Bahai Tembles, The Uganda national Museum, afetwhich you will return to the lodge for dinner and an overnight
DAY 2: TRANSFER TO QUEEN ELIZABETH NATIONAL PARK
After breakfast, Drive to Queen Elizabeth national Park, making a stop over at the equator, at the craft shop, Igongo cultural Center for lunch and then proceed through the tea estates and drive beyond Kalinzu Forest. Arrive at Queen Elizabeth national park and head straight for the afternoon boat-cruise on Kazinga channel, a 36kms channel linking Lake George to Lake Edward. Spot land and water adapted Hippopotamuses , Elelphants, Buffaloes and some bird species along the Lake Shores. Return back to the lodge for dinner and overnight at the Lodge

DAY 3: CHIMPS TREKKING IN KALINZU FOREST AND GAME-DRIVE IN ISHASHA, QUEEN ELIZABETH NATIONAL PARK
On this day, you will drive to Kalinzu Forest for chimpanzee, arriving in time for briefing. By the help of an experienced guide, you will trek the chimpanzees and upon encounter, you will be allowed to stay in their presence for 1 full hour, after then you will return to the Lodge for dinner and an overnight.
Embark on an afternoon game drive along the Isasha sector, so as to spot the Tree climbing Lions and later return to the Lodge for diinner and Overnight at the ldge.
DAY 4: TRANSFER TO BWINDI IMPENETRABLE NP
Morning game drive along the Isasha Sector as you head to Bwindi Impentrable national park for Gorilla trekking and an afternoon game drive. You will drive throughthough a changing landscape from savanna via cultivated hills to forest covered mountains.
DAY 5: GORILLA TREKKING DAY- BWINDI IMPENETRABLE FOREST
After breakfast, head to the park head office for a briefing, then by 9:00am, in a group of 8 trekkers and a game ranger or guide, you will set off into the forest in search of the Gorillas.
Gorilla trekking time schedule is unpredictable as it lasts between 30 minutes to 8 hours, depending on the gorilla family, and the group strength. Upon encounter, you will be allowed to stay up close with the gorillas for at most one hour, after which you will return to the head-office for certificate award for gorilla trekking.
Return to the lodge for lunch and if time allows, proceed for an evening cultural experience with the Batwa pigmy community and enjoy thrilling performances from the cultural dancers. And proceed to Lake Bunyony to rest.

DAY 6: TRANSFER TO LAKE MBURO National Park
We depart for lake Bunyonyi after breakfast, and drive to lake Mburo National Park. You will reach the park at lunch time, have lunch and proceed to the park for dinner and overnidgt.

Leave Lake Bunyonyi after breakfast and start driving towards Lake Mburo national park. Reaching the park in time for lunch at the lodge. In the afternoon , you wills spot wild animals such as the Impalas, Zebras, Oribis, Hearty of Zebras, Topis, Warthogs, buffaloes and Impalas. Among others
DAY 7: EARLY MORNING SAFARI WALK IN LAKE MBURO NP AND TRANSFER TO ENTEBBE
Start the day with a cup of tea or have breakfast then, later proceed for the morning game drive, where you stand a chance to spot Leopards, zebras, waterbucks, birds and buffaloes in there day break jungle life. SGo for a safari walk , and later drive to Kampala or Entebbe International Airport to cat up with your flight.
